What we store

• Account: name (optional), email address, hashed password, plan.
• Learning data: which lessons you completed, exam results, certificate code and date.
• Technical: server log files (IP address, time, page) for operating security.

Why

To provide the courses, remember your progress across devices and issue certificates. No advertising, no third-party tracking, no sale of data.

Processors

Our hosting provider (data centre in Germany, EU) and, for subscriptions bought in the app, Apple as the payment processor.

The R lab

The lab runs R inside your browser or the app (webR). The R runtime is downloaded from the webR content delivery network (webr.r-wasm.org, operated by Posit) when you open a lab; that server sees your IP address as any download does. Your code runs on your device. When you press “Check”, only the values of the requested result variables are sent to our server — not your code and not the data.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion and data export. You can delete your account yourself under “Account”; progress and certificates are removed with it. Write to info@furyhack.com for anything else.

Security

Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS) and passwords are stored only as hashes.
